The Black Space

We're really itching to go, me and my buddy Grelbar. Unlucky for use not all of us can stay for the whole party, Moryama has to leave for some rave thingie and Jonas is being weird missing most of the party, maybe he has his reasons, maybe he's just bat-shit-loco. For the good news my order of 3 X RainbowSix: 3 Gold editions came through the mail today and we get to play some interesting tactical co-op matches. \o/ Also Hopefully we get our epic Civilization IV game played through this year.

I am leaving work in T-1 hour to pack up and get ready for Grelbar to arrive and pick me up. Interesting to see how the party is going to turn out this year, prolly be good, no? Think I'll have to pay a visit to Jimm's PC-Store to see what kind of gimmick's they have to offer this year, maybe even pick something up. Also waiting to see compos, they're awesome and nice break from the gaming and basic nerding.

Oh yes, we're going to be back @ the party this year too. Things that have changed, that would be my PC, I am sporting pretty sweet machine this year:

Well anyways, I am going to blog from the event and maybe broadcast some web-cam feed for anyone to see on this site.

Last sunday I felt strange pain in my left eye when focusing on close objects and also when exposed to bright lights. Being no eye-doctor, I just though that this would be ye-olde-regular eye infection or something on those lines. Well today I went to see mr.doctor and he thought that this is no regular infection but Iriditis, I was like "whoa what the hell!". Well luckily it ain't bid deal if treated but when untreated it could lead to deteriation of eye-sight etc..

Needless to say I am bit troubled with it, as couple months ago I had same kind of symptoms but the ms.doctor only gave me scription for eye-infection medicine. Well the problem went away, for a brief amount of time it seems. Of course I asked for eye-doctors appointment but it seems that there just isn't any available times on private sector before august and that's bad. Now I have to this eye policlinic and it seems I am going to spend a day there, stupid other people. Kinda distracting that you can't get the treatment even when you're ready to pay for it. And I don't really have time to spend a day waiting there, I am supposed to get something done but no. Me angry and eye hurting!

So I went to see a doctor and see how I ended up, all O-o looking:

The good news are that I got the medicine and eye should be all ok in 15 days or so.

As my good pal Grelbar brought up (in his rather good writing style) so called Church of Finland, yes we have this stupid state church, christian that it is, are pondering counter strike website to oppose to damn good sit of eroakirkosta.fi (which basically creates letters of resignation (from christian church) to different magistrates around Finland and therefore makes your resignation so much easier). Well anyways Grelbar wrote good article on that so I am not going to further details on that, read Grelbar's article if you want to know more.

But what he left out is that every company in finland have to pay money to that church in form of taxes, no matter what religion the owner is or employees are. Now this is what I call FUCKING stupid. Companies don't actually believe in anything except maybe money that is. So how the hell you can avoid paying those taxes, for my knowledge you're shit out of luck. Cannot go around or over that law, so no matter if you're some Islamic pizza bundler or some other you'll pay.Any thoughts on this subject? Insane, yes! One would think that at 21st century this kind of enforcement would be thing of the past but seems not. It is far past the time when any church should receive any monetary support in form of enforcement, they should be able to do fine on themselves and if they can't, maybe it would be good time for some inner thinking etc.. Even thinking this subject makes me mad, we're free people but where's our free will to fucking put our money where we want? Taxes to support government to provide health care etc I can understand but this shit..
